Minh and Viet were married on an overcast day at the Oceano Hotel and Spa in Half Moon Bay. The grey skies only helped their wedding colors and flowers stand out all the more as they tied the knot on the sand of the hotel's beach.
When this Minh and Viet came into our studio we absolutely couldn't wait to execute their vision!
Their bright color palette of hot pink, orange, fuchsia and yellow allowed us to have some fun with unique summer flowers.
Minh's bouquet was designed with orange and hot pink roses, mango calla lilies, orange mokara orchids and green dendrobium orchids. We accented the design with bear grass and finished it off with a hot pink ribbon around the stems. Her bridesmaids carried similar hand ties and Viet wore a special boutonniere designed with a mango calla lily and a few blooms of mokara orchids.
The alter was decorated with bright arrangements created with mostly orchids, plush dahlias and roses for texture and fullness. The guest table centerpieces were much simpler, bringing the beach inside for the reception. We designed each table with a single candle sitting on a bed of sand, with bright orchid blooms and votive candles surrounding it.
Many thanks to the Oceano Hotel and Spa and its staff for inviting us to their site. And a very special thanks to JAY TSAI Photography
for capturing and sharing these gorgeous photos with our studio. We hope you enjoy
these
beautiful images as much as we enjoyed creating fun wedding designs.
