To cap our little whirlwind of bridal fairs and showcases at the beginning of this month, we took our designs to the
Gilroy Lodge on the Hill open house on Friday, March 1. There, we got to explore the beautiful venue, and got to create a couple completely different table set ups to show our style and the versatility of the Gilroy Elks Lodge property.
Our first table was dramatic and elegant. We created a white and silver Manzanita tree arrangement with candles floating in glass globes. The pops of bright green in the napkins, seat covers and votive holders gave the table some color and added a little fun.

Playing around with using different containers and holders can lead to some really creative work. Here, we used an old-fashioned bird cage to create a unique design with succulents and roses.

Using softer shades, like pale and pastel oranges and greens, can provide a romantic look without being too dramatic or in-your-face.

A lot of brides have being interested in a purple, plum and lavender color scheme. We don't blame them, they have great taste! Purple will almost automatically add a very regal and elegant atmosphere to any wedding or event.

Finally, we repurposed some of the designs from the
Eat, Drink and Get Married event the night before. (We couldn't resist, the punches of color and the paint can vases were just so much fun!)

Thank you to Gilroy Lodge on the Hill for inviting us to the property and for asking us to participate in the showcase. And thank you to
Jim Resonable Photography for capturing and sharing these beautiful images from the night.
