The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay played host to Amy and Spencer's beautiful double wedding on a gorgeous May day. The couple shared both their love and their culture with their friends and family on the bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The double wedding began in the early afternoon with a lively Indian ceremony. We decorated the mandap with pastel decor. The structure was draped in white, with pink carnation kissing balls hanging from crystals as a backdrop. The arrangements on the corners and sides of the mandap were designed with phalaenopsis orchids, peonies, hydrangea and roses. For the cocktail hour in between ceremonies, we decorated the tables with a set up of bud vases in matching flowers.
The second ceremony was a traditional Christian ceremony. We used bolder hues of green, pink and lavender to decorate the Ritz-Carlton's gazebo. Amy changed into a white gown and carried her peony bouquet across rose petals, down the aisle. The aisle was lined with arrangements in pink, green and ivory and the gazebo designs were created with garden roses, peonies, lilac and hydrangea.
The ballroom reception had dramatic purple lighting which added to the party atmosphere. The guest tables centerpieces were full, lush designs in pink, lavender and ivory. We used hydrangea, stock, roses, peonies and phalaenopsis orchids to create the looks of both the tall and shorter style arrangements. For even more drama we submerged lavender LED garlands in the vases and placed sets of floating candles around the centerpieces.
Many thanks to Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay for welcoming us to their site and for being so helpful and inviting.
