Komai and Praja, June 22, 2013

It all started with a phone call from Praja's uncle about a month before the wedding; he wanted us to decorate his home in Berkeley to welcome their family that would be visiting.  A couple meetings and a few more phone calls later, we were hired to create the ceremony decor of Komai and Praja's wedding at the San Ramon Marriott!

With an incredible mandap like the one they chose, we knew we had to step our flower game up!  We hand-threaded almost 100 feet of carnation garland, and although we prepped as much as we could in studio, it took nearly six hours to complete set up!

We kept the flower colors subtle, with ivory and light pink, so it really enhanced the incredible mandap and draping.  The garlands were made with carnations and the arrangements lining the aisle, as well at the arrangements on top of the mandap were created with hydrangea, roses, carnations, stock, and lots of orchids.

We were glad to be a part of this wedding, and thank Michelle Angeles and the staff at the San Ramon Marriott for being helpful and accommodating during our set up process.  And many many thanks to Gertrude and Mabel Photography capturing the beautiful details and sharing these images.  We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we designing and dreaming of the decor.
