There wasn't a cloud in the sky when Yanira and Jeff said their vows at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay at the end of May. The romantic and classic designs
and color palette created a perfect accent to the gorgeous day.
Yanira's bouquet was even more gorgeous than the sunny skies and wondrous Pacific. It was designed with several different types of roses, including garden roses and spray roses, peonies and hydrangea in colors of ivory, pink and coral. The bouquet was finished off with crystals and pearls and a beautiful brooch and satin wrapping along the stems. Jeff matched his bride with a handsome boutonniere made with freesia and pink spray roses.
We created a romantic look for the ceremony, with flowing chiffon draping at the entrance of the gazebo and floral arrangements to match. A matching set of arrangements designed in ivory, pink and coral completed the look. We also lined the aisle with arrangements of the same color and created a unique design of pastel rose petals to ramp up the romance.
The reception pieces were stunning. Tall, fluted vases held large and lush floral design of hydrangea, roses, spray roses and peonies. Inside each tall vase was a strand of crystals. We lined the table with smaller arrangements and floating candles. It was the little details, like spray roses at each place setting, whimsical halos for the flower girls, sparking crystals and brooches in the arrangements and bouquets which added to and completed the romantic ambiance of the day.
We would like to thank Christie Hjelm and the staff at the Ritz-Carlton for inviting to their site and for being so helpful and pleasant. And many thanks to Sarah Hoag Photography for sharing these beautiful photos. We hope you enjoy these images as much as we
enjoyed working with this lovely couple and creating the designs for their gorgeous wedding.
