The couple's wedding was definitely bold in color and rich in love. Their gold mandap was decorated with red flowers. We created a unique swirl design with red and gold rose petals down the aisle. The aisle was also decorated with red arrangements of roses and dahlias which stood on gold pedestals which led up to the mandap. The mandap itself was decorated with red arrangements including red kissing balls made with fresh carnations.
Rupa did an outfit change halfway through the day so she could match both the ceremony and reception colors. For the ceremony, she wore a beautiful, intricate red sari and carried a bouquet of red roses and silver, crystal brooches. After the ceremony, she changed into a fuchsia and blue sari to match the more vibrant colors of the reception.
We helped flip the ballroom for the reception and set the mood with purple uplighting. The floral arrangements mirrored the lighting and were created in hues of purple and fuchsia with hints of orange to brighten the designs. The tables were split between two centerpieces; the taller centerpiece was full and lush, and sat upon a tall fluted vase which had fuchsia orchids submerged inside. The low centerpiece was composed of a trio of floating candles with a halo of vibrant flowers around it.
We would like to thank Lesley Hallenbeck and the staff at the Fairmont Hotel for being so courteous and helpful. We also need to thank Purvi Shah of Avant Planners for helping make this day truly amazing and taking care of every little detail. And of course, we thank IQphoto Studio for capturing and sharing each of those amazing little details with our studio. We hope you enjoy the designs as much as we enjoyed creating them for this lovely couple.
