Jackie and Doug, Oct. 5, 2013

Strong, dramatic colors of red and black really brought out the romance at Jackie and Doug's wedding.  The two shared their vows with family at friends at Five Wounds Church and later celebrated at Boulder Ridge Golf Course.

Jackie's tear-drop bouquet was designed with red roses and almost-black mini calla lilies.  The romantic flowers were accented with crystals for a hint of glamor.  Her bridesmaids and even her flower girl carried smaller versions of Jackie's bouquet, which perfectly matched their dresses.

Doug wore a boutonniere designed to perfect match Jackie.  It was created with the dark calla lily and had a red spray rose accent.

The gorgeous church needed very little decor.  We created small, red bouquets of roses and dahlias which adorned the pews along the aisle.

The drama was kicked up a notch for the couple's reception at Boulder Ridge.  Each table was was draped in red linen with silver and black flatware and napkin accents.  The guest tables were alternatively decorated with a silver manzanita branch design or floating candle centerpiece.  Both arrangements were created with romantic red red roses and dahlias at the base.

A special thanks to Lori Makabe Photography for sharing these beautiful images with our studio!  And thank you to the staff at Boulder Ridge Gold Club and to the Five Wounds Church for being so helpful and accommodating as we set up the wedding.  We hope you enjoy the designs as much as we enjoyed creating them for this lovely couple.
