Marjorie and Douglas, Oct. 27, 2013

Marjorie and Douglas shared a beautiful and elegant October wedding at the Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay.  Their wedding and reception was filled with unique details that truly made their day special and unique.

Marjorie carried an elegant bouquet designed with all white roses with a blue-painted rose at the center, for a unique touch.  Douglas wore a boutonniere of white spray roses to match his bride's bouquet.

Marjorie's bridesmaids carried blue and white hand-ties down the aisle.  They bouquets were composed of hydrangea, roses and delphinium for the perfect mixture of blue and white.  The flower girls carried silk baskets filled with a blue rose and white petals, and one of the sweetest members of the bridal party -- Hazel -- wore a customized collar made with fern, spray roses and delphinium.

The ceremony space was additionally decorated with hues of blue and white.  We created two large arrangements to go on the gazebo and lined the aisle with white rose petals.  We also hung kissing balls made with white spray roses on the chairs lining the aisle for a unique and elegant touch.

For the reception, each guest table was decorated with a centerpiece of blue in a ceramic container of white.  We transferred the altar arrangements to their cake table -- which was a tower of macarons on top of a few layers of cake.  And transferred the rose pomanders to their head table, which was additionally decorated with sparkling floating candles.

We would like to thank Christina of Nightingale Photography for capturing the special moments and sharing these beautiful images with our studio.  We would also like to thank Lesli Mack and the rest of the staff at the Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay for helping to create such a flawless event!  We hope you enjoy the designs as much as we enjoyed creating them for this lovely couple.
