Roya and Maz, Aug. 23, 2013

Roya and Maz were wedding on a gorgeous August day at the Silver Creek Country Club.  Although we only worked with Roya for a couple weeks before the big day, she was one of the loveliest brides we've worked with.

We created her bouquet in a variety of orange hues-- from a nice soft peach, to a true orange to a burnt orange.  We used dahlias, Firedancer calla lilies, Circus roses and mokara orchids to create the wonderfully textured and colored bouquet.  Maz wore a calla lily boutonniere to perfectly match his bride's bouquet.

Roya's bridesmaids carried bouquets made with Circus roses and white hydrangea, and the groomsmen matched in boutonnieres made out of Circus roses.

For their Persian ceremony, we softened the colors and used peach and ivory for the arrangements.  We created two small arrangements to sit on the sofreh and two larger arrangements which sat on white pillars on slightly behind the table.  The rose petals on the aisle and chair flowers were also in the softer hues.

We punched up the color for the ceremony though.  The tall arrangements were made taller with the addition of long branches of curly willow.  The floral design was created with hydrangea, Asiatic lilies, dahlias and Circus roses in different shades of orange.  The cake was decorated with groupings of Circus roses on each of its tiers and the Sweetheart table was decorated with a long, low arrangement in ivory, peach, and orange.

A very special thank you to Deanna Graham Photography for capturing and sharing these wonderful photos and to Susanna Gutierrez and the staff at the Silver Creek Valley Country Club for helping us pull off this day without a hitch.  We hope you enjoy the designs as much as we enjoyed creating them for this lovely couple.
